Thank you for visiting! Nestle and Soar is my fiber art studio, located in picturesque Colorado, about halfway between Denver and the Boulder foothills. I chose my studio’s name because of my love of birds and trees as well as the energy in both nesting and gliding. Do you ever feel comforted when you think about nesting and gliding? I strongly believe that everyone deserves the chance to nestle and soar...
Crafting a luxurious product is not just about the aesthetics. Each of my fiber art designs is lovingly handcrafted with patient, masterful detail, and I take pride in my workmanship. To me, that is what crafting luxury is all about.
My fiber art designs are both modern and romantic. As a member of the fiber arts community for over 20 years, my current work includes strong examples of hand needle felting and hand embroidery of soft wool, which are time-tested and beloved needle-art techniques. My collectors appreciate the luxurious textures made by my silky-soft wools. They also enjoy decorating their homes with unique, one-of-a-kind or limited edition items. I focus on pure colors and superior construction to make these family heirlooms both lovely to look at and fun to talk about -- just watch your friends and guests take notice!
Other motifs from nature, like trees and botanicals, are also favorites in my design work. I am particularly fond of the vintage frames series I’ve designed for you. Adding vibrant color to a refurbished frame is the first step, followed by the fun of creating fiber art specifically for each frame.
